Data Deletion Instructions

Replyd AI stores conversations, contact records and order details on behalf of the businesses that use it. This page explains how to have that data deleted — whether you are a customer who messaged a business, or a business using Replyd AI.
If you messaged a business (end customers)
Contacted them on Facebook or Instagram?
- Open your Facebook or Instagram Settings → Apps and Websites (Facebook) / Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites (Instagram).
- Find the business’s connected app and choose Remove / request data deletion.
- Meta forwards the deletion request to us automatically. We delete your conversations, messages and comments and issue a confirmation code with a status link you can check any time.
Contacted them on WhatsApp?
- Reply STOP to stop all messages — this is recorded permanently and enforced before any automated send.
- To have your conversation history and contact details erased, ask the business directly in the chat, or email us at hello@replyd-ai.com from any address, mentioning the phone number you used and the business you contacted.
Bought from their online store?
Submit a data/erasure request to the store (most stores have this in their own privacy policy). For Shopify stores, Shopify relays the request to us and your order-linked data in Replyd AI is redacted automatically as part of that process.
If you are a merchant using Replyd AI
- Individual contacts: delete them from Dashboard → Contacts; this removes the contact record. Conversation threads can be deleted on request.
- Integrations: disconnecting a channel or store removes its stored access tokens immediately.
- Entire account: email hello@replyd-ai.comfrom your account email with the subject “Delete my account”. We close the workspace and delete its data within 30 days, except records we must keep (see below).
What we keep after deletion
- Opt-out records:the “do not contact this number” entry is kept so the opt-out keeps being honored — deleting it would allow messaging to resume.
- De-identified statistics: aggregate counts (e.g. number of messages sent) that no longer identify anyone.
- Records we are legally required to retain (e.g. billing records).
Timelines and confirmation
Automated requests (via Meta or Shopify) are processed immediately on receipt and logged with a confirmation record. Manual requests by email are completed within 30 days; we confirm by reply when the deletion is done.
